I was so upset to find that everything was in german, not a word in english! And the shower? Sooo tiny, like a hamster cage. I woudl ve been fine with that if i had received a complimentary upgrade for my troubles. After all, a loyal guest like me deserves it. How disappointing, really.

private parking, welcoming service. an electric kettle, a sofa bed, and central heating available in the double room. excellent and brilliant food. friendly, incredibly welcoming staff towards all guests. the location in the centre of the city.

We loved exploring the historic sites in old town, especially the walk to the castle. The view from our beautiful double room was fine, and my fiancée appreciated the hotel's charming atmosphere.

In my wife's opinion, more activities for kids would be great.

Greatly enjoyed having television with satellite channels, central heating, and tea and coffee making equipment in the a nice size and beautifully maintained room. The hotel's location was stunning, just off where the bulk of Marburg's considerable charm is concentrated, and the old centre.

Had really lovely stay in this wonderful hotel, the staff were affable, location was magnificent to the fine Italian restaurant. The venue was located in the center of the city...

We had a proper lovely stay! The old-style decor made us feel right at home, just like grandma's gaff. Breakfast was nice with a good selection too. But it got a bit noisy when folks were about. Still, defo coming back!

My room was clean and traditionally furnished, with fine views overlooking the picturesque Marktplatz. Breakfast was a highlight, with freshly served pastries and a selection of local delicacies. The bathroom could use a slight upgrade for a more modern feel. I would definitely return for the charm and warmth of the place!

Just an appropriate option for a city holiday in Marburg with good value for price. The bathroom was huge and clean, a pleasant surprise. Make sure to grab your keys from the restaurant during meal hours.

The building is historic. the room is well-maintained. - Excellent location, a short walk to the main square, the Oberstadt, and the restaurants; very central.
